Wood
In 2009, our related company, Spec Resources Inc., were the general contractor for Universite Sainte-Anne in building a facility and providing a wood biomass boiler. The boiler was to be used to offset the oil fired boilers that were currently in use at the campus. After completing the project, Spec won the tender to provide the wood biomass for the boiler.
In order to supply the Universite with round wood year round, unmarketable and unsuitable wood is purchased from several wood contractors in the area and stored at our site in Concession.
After the wood has been stored and allowed time to dry, it is then ground by our Rotochopper wood grinder for storage or delivery to the biomass boiler.
