About Us
Spec Environmental Solutions Inc. was formed in 2001 by Hubert LeBlanc to manage and dispose of waste from the local, rapidly expanding, mink industry. Hubert was contacted due to having over 30 years of experience with on-farm composting through Spectacle Lake Pork Farm Ltd., as well as having his other company, Spec Resources Inc., a construction company that provides various services to most of the 80 local mink farms.
Besides processing product from the mink industry, Spec Environmental Solutions Inc. also offers waste disposal services to the local fishing industry, which includes lobster, crab and salmon.
Our goal in processing waste is to protect the three key elements of our environment; air, water and soil for the sustainability of our planet.
Septic sludge and municipal organics are not accepted at our facility.
